Case Study - Tokenization of M&A Assets on the Blockchain

Lexit had a clear vision: to make M&A processes more transparent, faster, and accessible through blockchain technology. The challenge was substantial – spanning the technical architecture of smart contracts, the regulatory requirements of the European financial market, and the need to build trust with institutional users. Traditional M&A transactions are slow, opaque, and expensive. Lexit wanted to change that by creating a platform where company shares could be tokenized, traded, and managed entirely on-chain, with full legal compliance built in from the start.

We built the entire technical infrastructure from the ground up. This included a Solidity-based smart contract architecture for asset tokenization, a React-powered frontend tailored separately for investors and business owners, and a Node.js backend handling secure transaction processing, wallet management, and KYC/AML verification. We integrated a third-party identity verification provider to ensure compliance with European financial regulations. Every contract was designed to be auditable and upgradeable, with role-based access control protecting sensitive operations. The backend API was built with strict validation layers to prevent invalid state transitions across the M&A workflow.

The platform runs on Ethereum and was architected for high scalability, supporting growing transaction volumes without compromising on security or speed. We conducted multiple rounds of internal security auditing before launch, reviewing all smart contracts for known attack vectors including reentrancy, integer overflow, and front-running. The result is a production-grade platform that has processed over 50 tokenized assets with zero critical security incidents since go-live – passing its independent security audit with a perfect score.
